1. How We’re Funded
EasternReset is funded by one thing only: one-time pass purchases. Four one-time access passes, no subscription, no automatic renewal. We have no advertisers, no sponsors, and no investors asking us to chase growth at any cost. That keeps our incentives simple: the only way we earn your trust and your money is by being useful.
2. What We Don’t Do
- No display or banner ads anywhere on the site.
- No sponsored posts, paid placement, or pay-for-coverage.
- No general affiliate links inside editorial content.
- No selling or renting of user data.
- No content written, placed, or delayed to please an advertiser, partner, or funder.
If you see something on EasternReset that looks like any of the above, it is a bug — and we want to know about it (see Section 5).
3. The One Exception
Tool and hardware pages may occasionally contain clearly labeled affiliate links — for example, a piece of equipment we genuinely recommend, such as a sleep tracker or a cooking scale. This applies to tool pages only, never to editorial guides. The recommendation comes first and is written exactly as we would write it without the link; the affiliate link is disclosed on the page. The small commission it can earn never changes what we recommend.
4. How Money Stays Out of Content
Our editorial process is separate from revenue. Topic selection, evidence grading (Tier A/B/C), and expert review happen before — and independent of — any commercial consideration. Buying a higher pass never influences what we publish, and the same Editorial Standards apply to every guide equally. If we get something wrong, our correction policy is public and our error report line appears on every article.
5. Reporting
If you ever see content that looks sponsored, paid, or biased — or an ad where none should be — tell us. We investigate every report and respond. Email [email protected] or use our contact page.
